I love photographing old decayed homes and buildings.  I was able to get out to a site just off the highway this weekend - I've been meaning to get out there for quite a long time.

(I don't usually like selective color, and I didn't notice the red on the ground when I took the photo.  But I thought it worked for this one.)

Nice pictures! I think I like SDIM3982 and SDIM3997 (on your blog) most, those houses are about to fall apart...

I don't know what the pictures would look like in color, but they look good in black/white.

Hi, Jason,

Interesting set of photos. The monochrome certainly give a mood and tone. I like #2 of the posted ones best. The somber upper floor(s) with the overarching gable and the skeletal structure suggest (to me) age and mystery. Ghosts in the walls so to speak.
